Police investigating after pickup truck stolen

Chatham-Kent police are appealing to the public for tips after a pickup truck was stolen from a secured compound in Chatham.

Officers say it was taken from the property on Seventh Line sometime between February 19-21, 2021.

Police later found the vehicle abandoned on Taylor Road in Howard Township.

Wanted man arrested

Chatham-Kent police have caught up with a 36-year-old man who was wanted for break and enter and uttering threats.

Police said he was arrested at around 9:45 p.m. Monday on Joseph Street in Chatham.

The accused was later released with a future court date.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
