Drive-in concert set to rev up for local fundraiser

A cancelled fundraiser in 2020 to support Chatham-Kent Crime Stoppers will be replaced by a drive-in tribute show in Pain Court this summer.

The Country Legends Tribute Tour will feature "well known musicians" covering a variety of Country music chart toppers by artists such as Keith Urban, Garth Brooks, and the Zac Brown Band.

The socially distanced drive-in tribute concert is scheduled for July 15, 2021 at 7:30 p.m. at the Pain Court Park.

The show will replace the 2020 Chatham-Kent Crime Stoppers Rodeo that was scheduled for last July. Those who purchased rodeo tickets will be given replacement tickets.

Money raised will support operations at Chatham-Kent Crime Stoppers in the form of cash rewards for tips that help local police in their investigations.

Tickets for the tribute show can be purchased online or over the phone at 1-888-777-9793.

More information on how the event will be policed and specific details on what attendees can expect will be released at a later date.
