COVID cases up 12 in Sarnia-Lambton

Another 12 people in Sarnia-Lambton tested positive for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.

Lambton Public Health also reported six more resolved cases Saturday morning, bringing the active cases to 74.

There have been a total of 2,067 confirmed cases of the virus locally, including 46 deaths -- the most recent COVID-related fatality was reported February 17.

The number of active outbreaks is unchanged at eight.

Bluewater Health has not had a COVID-positive patient in hospital since Monday.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
