A handful of new COVID-19 cases in Midwestern Ontario

Midwestern Ontario continues to keep the number of new cases of COVID-19 fairly low.

The Grey Bruce Health Unit reported no new cases of COVID-19 Wednesday. There are 13 active cases and 73 high-risk contacts. Two people are in hospital.

Huron Perth Public Health added two new confirmed cases of COVID-19, one in Stratford and one in Bluewater. There are 21 a active cases, and two people with the virus are in hospital

Wellington Dufferin Guelph Public Health added two new cases of COVID-19 in Wellington County, where there are 18 active cases.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
