Chatham man injured during home invasion

A 19-year-old has been arrested but police are still looking for two other suspects after a home invasion at an apartment in Chatham.

Police said three men forced their way into an apartment on Tuesday night.

The person who lived at the apartment, a 50-year-old Chatham man, suffered undisclosed injuries after, according to police, there was a "physical altercation involving a knife."

Police said all of the men know each other. The three suspects left the apartment before officers arrived, however, a 19-year-old Chatham man was arrested Wednesday night in connection to the investigation. He was charged with break and enter, aggravated assault, and being in possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

Warrants have been requested for the arrests of two other male suspects.
