COVID-19 case associated with Thornbury school

The Grey Bruce Health Unit is working with Bluewater District School Board to address a confirmed case of COVID-19, associated with Beaver Valley Community School in Thornbury, ON.

Public health officials contacted the individual with COVID-19 and identified all others, both in and out of the school environment, who may have been exposed. Any cohorts that have been identified as contacts to the case have been excluded from school at this time. No bus routes are involved with this case.

Currently there are no outbreaks in Grey Bruce schools or childcare centres. Outbreaks are defined by evidence of transmission from person to person.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
