COVID-19 claims another life in Huron Perth

Huron Perth Public Health has added another fatality due to COVID-19. The virus has now lead to 51 deaths in the region.

There are 22 active cases and 19 variants of concern have surfaced in the area.

Three new cases were added Tuesday, in Stratford, North Perth and West Perth. However, one case was referred to their home health unit.

94 people are self-isolated. No one is in hospital in Huron Perth with the virus. There are no active outbreaks being reported.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
