Just a handful of new COVID cases in Huron Perth and Wellington Wednesday

Huron Perth Public Health added just one new case of COVID-19 Wednesday, in North Perth.

Officials reported 21 active cases. 20 variants of concern have been identified.

One person is currently in hospital, and 91 people are self isolating.

Wellington Dufferin Guelph Public Health added 21 new cases, and reported five hospitalizations, including three in the ICU.

Just three of those new cases were in Wellington, where there are 47 active cases.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
