Ten new cases of COVID-19 in Huron Perth and Wellington

Public health officials added ten new cases of COVID-19 in Huron, Perth and Wellington Counties Wednesday.

Huron Perth Public Health added four new cases, one in Stratford, two in West Perth, and  one in Bluewater, for a total of 40 active cases. One person is in hospital, and there have been 42 variants of concern confirmed in the region. The number of fatalities due to the pandemic stands at 52.

Public health officials in Wellington County added six new cases. There are 91 active cases. Fatalities from the pandemic stand at 35.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
