Vaccine clinics for 55+ scheduled next week in Goderich and Stratford

Primary Care providers in Huron and Perth counties are working together to offer two COVID-19 Vaccine clinics for residents 55 and over. Clinics for the AstraZeneca Vaccine will be held in Goderich April 20th, 2021 and Stratford April 22nd, 2021. Both will run from 10:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

Anyone born in 1966 or earlier can book an appointment.  Primary care websites will have the booking link on their websites and social media accounts. Booking online is recommended at: https://chkmkt.com/HPprimarycareAZ

Anyone in need of assistance booking, could consider reaching out to a trusted family member or friend. Primary care offices remain very busy, and there could be a significant delay in returning your call.

People who need to cancel or confirm an appointment already made, must email PrimaryCareAZ@hpph.ca.

The AstraZeneca vaccine is part of the Huron Perth allotment for primary care use. The Primary Care Working Group of the Huron Perth Mass Vaccination Advisory Committee (HPMVAC) is working with Huron Perth Public Health to organize the clinics.

Huron Perth Public Health anticipates supply of AZ to continue to be stable across the region in both primary care offices and pharmacies. Public health said second dose timing is not anticipated to be at risk and communication on how to book for 2nd dose will be provided at the time of first vaccine.
