Impaired driving charge laid after ATV crash

A 34-year-old Zorra Township man has been charged after he lost control of an ATV and ended up in a ditch.

Police said a collision involving an ATV was reported shortly after 4 p.m. Sunday on Grove Mills Line.

The man was allegedly under the influence of alcohol at the time. He was arrested and taken to police headquarters for breath tests. He was later charged with having a blood alcohol concentration exceeding the legal limit.

The 34-year-old was released from police custody with a future court date scheduled for May 14.

Suspended driver allegedly caught behind the wheel

Chatham-Kent police have arrested a suspended driver following a traffic stop on Margaret Avenue in Wallaceburg.

The vehicle was stopped Sunday night.

The vehicle was towed from the scene. Meanwhile, the driver was charged and issued a future court date for May 26.

Police called about suspicious person

A 38-year-old man accused of not following his release conditions has been arrested after police were called about a suspicious man.

Officers were called to Hannibal Street in Blenheim on Sunday.

The 38-year-old was arrested and held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
