Active COVID cases below 80 now in Sarnia-Lambton

Sarnia-Lambton's active COVID-19 case count dipped below 80 Thursday.

Lambton Public Health reported 17 new confirmed cases for a total of 3,159. Cases considered resolved went up 22 to 3,025, lowering the number of active infections by five to 79.

Active workplace and institutional outbreaks increased to four from three Wednesday.

Bluewater Health admitted another three COVID positive patients over the past 24 hours for a total of 11.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
