Chatham business broken into

Police are turning to the public for information after a break and enter at a Chatham business.

Around 7:20 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to Loaded 2 Go on King Street West. According to police, the store window was smashed and items were stolen from the store.

Outstanding warrant arrests

Chatham-Kent police were able to nab a pair of people wanted on outstanding warrants.

Around 4:47 p.m. Saturday, police on general patrol in Wallaceburg located a woman on Wallace Street.

According to police, the Wallaceburg woman was wanted on an outstanding warrant and was arrested.

The 48-year-old was released with a future court date.

Elsewhere, police on general patrol in Chatham located a man on Dover Street on Saturday evening.

The 42-year-old from Chatham was wanted on an outstanding warrant. He was arrested, given a future court date and released.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
