Increased enforcement planned at North Perth Parks

The Municipality of North Perth and Perth County OPP are increasing enforcement in municipal parks.

That;'s in response to an increase in reported incidents at North Perth municipal parks, including Listowel Memorial Park.

the OPP has initiated extra patrols for Listowel Memorial Park. Municipal by-law enforcement officers and other staff have also increased their presence in the park...Fines will be issued where necessary.

The Municipality and OPP also want to remind everyone of the provincial orders currently in place, including the Stay-At-Home order, gatherings restrictions, and closure of outdoor recreation amenities like the skateboard park.

The Municipality has previously established a curfew for municipal parks between.10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
