COVID-19 test tube. (Photo from Pixabay)Wellington Dufferin Guelph Public Health added 47 new cases of COVID 19 Wednesday, 17 of them in Wellington County. There are 79 active cases in Wellington. 13 of the active cases are in Wellington North, and four of them are in Mapleton Township.
Across the public health region, there are 345 active cases. 17 people are hospitalized with the virus, and another 14 are in the ICU with COVID-19.
There are eight active workplace outbreaks.
