COVID19 claims the life of a Huron Perth resident

Huron Perth Public Health reports COVID-19 has claimed another victim in the region. There have now been 56 fatalities due to the virus.

Eight new cased were added Wednesday. There are 75 active cases, including 44 variants of concern.

Three of the new cases were in Goderich, two in South Huron and one in West Perth and Stratford.

One resident is in hospital with the virus.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
