Chatham garage fire ruled accidental

On top of battling a large industrial/commercial fire on Inshes Avenue in Chatham, fire crews were also called to a garage fire on Wednesday.

Firefighters from Station #1 and #2 were called to Thames St. in Chatham around 3:40 p.m. for a fire in an attached garage.

Crews were able to contain the blaze to the garage, but the damage is estimated at $10,000.

No injuries were reported, and the cause is listed as accidental.
