Active COVID cases increase by one

The active COVID-19 caseload in Sarnia-Lambton rose by one to 29 on Sunday.

Lambton Public Health reported 3,543 confirmed cases of the virus since the pandemic began last year with 3,453 deemed resolved, unchanged since Saturday.

Outbreaks remained at zero and the death toll is unchanged at 61.

Also Sunday, Bluewater Health reported that there are still six patients in hospital with the virus.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
