Five new COVID-19 cases confirmed today in Huron Perth

Huron Perth Public Health added five new cases of COVID-19 to the list Thursday, three in Stratford, and one in South Huron and Perth East.

There are 20 active cases. One resident is hospitalized with the virus.  The outbreak continues at Knollcrest long term care home in Perth East.

During the pandemic the 20 to 29 age group has had the highest number of infections at 314 people. There have been 261 infections in the 0 to 19 group. The 70 to 79 year old age group has shown the fewest confirmed infections, at 126.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
