Just two new COVID-19 cases in Grey Bruce today

The Grey Bruce Health Unit added two new cases of COVID-19 Thursday in Georgian Bluffs and Owen Sound.

There are 55 active cases, including one variant of concern. Plus, 83 high-risk contacts are self-isolating.

One resident is hospitalized with the virus in Grey Bruce, and another resident is fighting the virus in a hospital outside of the region.

In all there have been 1,410 confirmed cases, and 1,349 have been resolved.

The virus has caused five deaths in Grey Bruce.  Plus one death related to a Grey Bruce resident that acquired the infection and was treated outside of Grey Bruce, while another Grey Bruce resident that acquired the infection in Grey Bruce passed away outside of Grey Bruce.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
