Perth County collision results in serious injuries

Perth County OPP say one person was transported to a local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries following a collision this morning.

OPP were called to Road 107 at Line 29 in Perth East about 8 this morning. Perth County paramedics and local firefighters also responded. Police say a 28-year-old from Stratford has been charged with Turn Not in Safety. No other injuries were reported

The road was closed for several hours this morning for an investigation, but it is now open. Anyone who has any information or who may have witnessed this crash is encouraged to contact Perth County OPP or Crime Stoppers.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
