Three new COVID-19 cases in Huron Perth Monday

Huron Perth Public Health added three new cases of COVID-19 Monday, all in Stratford.

There are 14 active cases, of which two are variants of concern.

Three people are now in hospital with the virus.

The death toll stands at 57.

The outbreak continues at Knollcrest Lodge Long Term Care Home in Perth East.

There are active cases in Central Huron, South Huron, Huron East, Stratford, North Perth, Perth East and West Perth.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
