Sarnia-Lambton COVID cases up nine, ten more resolved

Lambton Public Health has reported another nine new cases of COVID-19.

The health unit said Friday the number of confirmed infections has climbed to 3,589 since the start of the pandemic.

The number of resolved cases increased by 10, to 3,491, lowering the active case count by one to 36.

The death toll is unchanged at 62 and there are no active outbreaks.

Bluewater Health had seven COVID-positive patients in hospital, unchanged from Thursday.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
