COVID-19 cases increase in Midwestern Ontario Tuesday

The Grey Bruce health Unit added three new cases of COVID-19 Tuesday, and reported 71 active cases. The number of fatalities of residents related to the novel coronavirus increased to 19 over the weekend.

Huron Perth Public Health added five new cases of COVID-19 Tuesday. Four of the cases were in Stratford and one in Perth South. The death toll stands at 57 due to the pandemic.

Wellington Dufferin Guelph Public Health added 13 new cases of COVID-19 since Friday, three of them in Wellington. There are three active cases in Wellington, where the pandemic has claimed 37 lives.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
