23 new COVID-19 cases in Wellington Dufferin Guelph

Wellington Dufferin Guelph Public Health add 23 new cases of COVID-19 since Friday, two of them in Wellington County.

There are seven active cases in Wellington, including one in Minto.

There are no hospitalizations due to COVID-19.

82.3% of the eligible population has one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, and 74.3% has two.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
