COVID caseload up by one

Lambton Public Health reported one new case of COVID-19 Monday.

The confirmed caseload since the start of the pandemic has reached 3,642. There have been 3,570 cases deemed resolved and 68 deaths, increasing the active case count by one to four.

There are no active workplace or institutional outbreaks.

Bluewater Health has one COVID-positive patient. It's the first positive patient at the hospital since July 21.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
