No change to active COVID-19 case count

The active COVID-19 caseload in Sarnia-Lambton is holding steady at four.

Lambton Public Health Tuesday reported one new confirmed case of the virus, up to 3,643 since the start of the pandemic.

A total of 3,571 infections have been deemed resolved, up by one in the last 24 hours. The death toll stands at 68.

Bluewater Health has one COVID-positive patient in hospital, unchanged from Monday.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
