Three new COVID-19 cases in Midwestern Ontario Tuesday

The Grey Bruce Health Unit added just one new case Tuesday in Blue Mountains, following the addition of 17 cases Monday. Six residents are hospitalized with the virus. The pandemic death toll stands at 19. There are 47 active cases and 105 high risk contacts.

Wellington Dufferin Guelph Public health reports four hospitalizations due to COVID 19. No new cases were reported Tuesday. There are seven active cases in Wellington. 37 Wellington County residents died due to COVID-19 related illnesses. Across Wellington Dufferin Guelph there have been 126 fatalities.

Huron Perth Public Health added two new cases, both in North Perth. There are 15 active cases. The death toll from the pandemic in the region is 57. There are no hospitalizations due to COVID-19.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
