UPDATE: Heat warning ended for Chatham-Kent

After several days of hot and humid weather, Environment Canada has ended a heat warning.

The weather agency issued the heat alert for Chatham-Kent on Tuesday. The warning, which was also in place for most of southern Ontario, saw daytime temperatures in the high 20s to low 30s, which made things feel closer to 40 with the humidity.

Late Thursday evening, the alert was called off.
