COVID-19 caseload up three

Lambton Public Health is reporting over a dozen active cases of COVID-19.

In its daily update Monday, the health unit reported 3,656 confirmed infections since the start of the pandemic, up three from Sunday.

The number of resolved cases is unchanged at 3,574 and the death toll stands at 68, resulting in 14 active infections.

There are no active workplace or institutional outbreaks.

Bluewater Health has two COVID-positive patients in hospital, up from one on Friday.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
