COVID-19 recoveries up one

Lambton Public Health reported no new cases of COVID-19 Tuesday.

The health unit said the total caseload is unchanged at 3,656 confirmed infections since the start of the pandemic.

The number of resolved cases increased by one to 3,575, lowering the number of active infections by one to 13.

The number of infections involving variants of concern has risen to 690 since March 3, including 53 linked to the Delta variant.

Bluewater Health had two COVID-positive patients in hospital, unchanged from Monday.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
