Chatham-Kent police find $1,500 in illegal drugs

Four people are facing charges after Chatham-Kent police searched a residence on Brown Street in Dresden and found some illegal drugs.

Police said they executed a search warrant Wednesday night and found approximately $1,500 worth of methamphetamine, percocets, and LSD along with some digital scales, a crossbow, ammunition, and some Canadian cash.

A 34-year-old Dresden man, a 37-year-old Dresden man, a 38-year-old Dresden man, and a 27-year-old woman of no fixed address were all arrested and charged with three counts of drug possession for the purpose of trafficking.

They were all later released from custody with future court dates.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
