Transport truck and trailer stolen from Chatham businesses

Chatham-Kent police are appealing to the public for possible tips after a transport truck was stolen from a Chatham business.

At around 4 a.m. Saturday, police say a white 2016 Volvo VVN transport was taken from a business on Richmond Street. The truck has blue numbers that read 2115 on the front right and left sides and was last seen with Ontario licence plates of PA32432.

At around the same time as the first theft, police say a 53-foot refrigerated trailer was removed from another Chatham business on Bothwell Street. The trailer is white with an Ontario licence plate of 3652T.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
