All of the major parties in Canada's 44th federal election have made childcare a key part of their platforms.

So how would their plans affect parents of young children?

The plan supported by the Liberals and NDP already has several provinces onboard. The Conservatives want to end those agreements, and bring in a mechanism to save parents money on their income taxes

The Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives has crunched the numbers and found some key differences.

David Macdonald, a senior economist with CCPA, joined 519 Podcast Host Craig Needles to breakdown what the parties are saying and how it will impact you.
