CK man wanted by police found at London airport 

A 48-year-old Chatham man has been arrested after police executed a domestic violence arrest warrant in London.

The man was placed under arrest at the airport in London and brought back to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters where he was held pending a bail hearing.

Man arrested with outstanding warrant 

Police located a 68-year-old man on Saturday who was found to have an outstanding warrant for reportedly failing to attend court.

He was released at the scene with a future court date.

Failure to stop leads to police pursuit 

Police were called to an address in Chatham on Saturday and discovered a man known to be wanted by another jurisdiction in Ontario.

The man was reportedly in a vehicle with stolen plates and was believed to have been in a police pursuit earlier that day.

Police said the suspect became aware of a police presence and allegedly took off at a high rate of speed.

The suspect’s vehicle was abandoned outside Chatham-Kent and later found by another police service.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
