Active cases of COVID-19 continue to rise in Sarnia-Lambton

The active caseload in Sarnia-Lambton increased again on Saturday.

Lambton Public Health reported 12 new cases of the virus Saturday for a total of 3,760 confirmed cases since the pandemic began.

There were 3,640 cases deemed resolved, an increase of three since Friday, bringing the number of active infections to 51.

The death toll remains at 69 and there are no outbreaks reported.

On Friday Bluewater Health reported two COVID-positive patients in hospital, unchanged from Thursday.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
