Pair arrested for outstanding warrants

Chatham-Kent police have arrested two individuals over the weekend for outstanding warrants.

A 34-year-old man known to police was located in Wallaceburg on Saturday.

The man was found to have an outstanding warrant with Chatham-Kent police and was arrested.

The man was released from custody at the scene with a pending court date.

Later the same day, police located a 38-year-old woman near Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters.

The woman was found to have an outstanding warrant with police and was arrested.

The woman was released following a bail hearing with a future court date.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
