Fewer COVID-19 cases added in Midwestern Ontario Tuesday

The Grey Bruce Health Unit added no new cases of COVID-19 for the second straight day on Tuesday. There are 19 active cases, and Three residents are hospitalized due to COVID-19 .

Huron Perth Public Health added four new cases of COVID-19, two in Perth East, one in Howick and one in Bluewater. There are 31 active cases, and five residents are hospitalized with the virus. The outbreak at Knollcrest Lodge in Perth East is over.

Wellington Dufferin Guelph Public Health added two new cases of the virus Tuesday in Wellington. There are 39 active cases in Wellington. Across Wellington Dufferin Guelph, six residents are hospitalized.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
