Several COVID-19 cases added in Midwestern Ontario

Public health authorities added a few new Cases of COVID-19 in parts of Midwestern Ontario Wednesday.

The Grey Bruce Health Unit added one new cases of COVID-19 Wednesday in West Grey. There are 19 active cases, with 23 high risk contacts. Three residents remain hospitalized with the virus.

Huron Perth Public Health added three new cases, two in West Perth and one in Perth East. Four people are fighting the virus in hospital. There are 27 active cases. An outbreak continues in the Bluewater Rest Home in Bluewater.

Wellington Dufferin Guelph added eleven new cases, four of them in Wellington. There are 35 active cases in Wellington.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
