Steady increase in COVID-19 cases in Midwestern Ontario

Huron Perth Public Health added six cases of COVID-19 Friday, three in Perth East, and one each in North Perth, Huron East and St. Marys. There are 29 active cases, and three residents are hospitalized with the virus.

The Grey Bruce Health Unit added one new case of COVID-19 Friday, in West Grey. There are 15 active cases. Two residents remain in the hospital fighting the virus.

Wellington Dufferin Guelph Public Health 17 cases, seven in Wellington. there are 32 active cases in Wellington. Across Wellington Dufferin Guelph, six residents are hospitalized with the novel coronavirus.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
