UPDATE: Two new school outbreaks in Chatham

A COVID-19 outbreak has been declared at McNaughton Avenue Public School in Chatham, and at Eben-Ezer Christian School in Chatham.

The outbreak at McNaughton involves three confirmed cases in the same cohort -- but the school is still open.

The Chatham-Kent Public Health Unit is working closely with the school and is contacting anyone who may have been in potential contact with the virus.

If you have not been notified, your child has not been in close contact with the confirmed cases.

The outbreak at Eben-Ezer involves two confirmed cases of COVID-19.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
