COVID-19 cases up five, 10 recoveries

Lambton Public Health reported five new cases of COVID-19 Sunday.

In its daily update, the health unit reported the caseload since the start of the pandemic in March 2020 has reached 3,908. The number of resolved cases increased by 10 to 3,743, lowering the active case count by five to 95.

There are four active outbreaks, up one from Saturday.

The death toll is unchanged at 70.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
