Fire in Chatham causes $200,000 in damage

No injuries are being reported after a fire broke out on the third floor of a home on Raleigh Street in Chatham.

Chatham-Kent Fire and Emergency Services crews from Station #1 in Chatham were called to the home around 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.

The fire was contained to the third floor of the home, but there was extensive smoke and water damage, estimated at $200,000.

The cause is listed as undetermined, and two adults and three children were displaced.
