Chatham couple dies in crash

A Chatham couple has been identified by Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) as the victims who died in a crash near Petawawa earlier this week.

The OPP said the driver, Timothy Hudson, 63, of Chatham, and his passenger Susan Hudson, 64, of Chatham, were killed when their vehicle collided with a dump truck early Wednesday morning on Highway 17 at Doran Road.

The driver of the dump truck was not injured.

The investigation continues.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
