Active COVID-19 caseload remains at 40

The active COVID-19 caseload remained at 40 Sunday in Sarnia-Lambton.

Lambton Public Health reported eight new cases of the virus along with eight resolved cases.

There have been 4,316 confirmed infections since the pandemic began in March 2020, with 4,202 recoveries.

The number of active outbreaks in the community dropped by one to two and the death toll is unchanged at 74.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
