Active COVID cases down six

Lambton Public Health reported no new cases of COVID-19 Tuesday.

The health unit in its daily update reported that since the start of the pandemic there have been 4,323 confirmed infections and 4,214 resolved cases, up five. The number of active cases has dropped by six to 34.

The death toll has climbed to 75. Bluewater Health Monday reported a woman in her 80s had died.

Bluewater Health had four COVID-positive patients in hospital, down one from Monday.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
