Brochu, Evangelista attending Canada's junior team selection camp

The London Knights will have a pair of representatives at Canada's National Junior Team selection camp in December.

Knights netminder Brett Brochu was named one of the 35 players from across Canada who will be at camp.

Brochu, who is from Tilbury, has a 2.59 goals-against average, and a .918 save percentage, so far this season.

He has also won the OHL Goaltender of the Month honour three times going back to January and February of 2020 prior to the season being halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Hockey Canada will choose its 25-player roster following selection camp December 9-12 in Calgary. With only three goalies set to be named to the final roster, Brochu is all but locked in to suit up for Team Canada in the tournament.

Knights right winger Luke Evangelista will also be joining Brochu at this year's camp.

Canada will play two selection camp games on December 11 and December 12. The World Juniors run from December 26 - January 5 in Edmonton and Red Deer.
