UPDATE: Crash in Leamington kills two

The Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a crash that killed two occupants of an SUV in Leamington Friday morning.

Constable Steven Duguay said the crash, around 5:30 a.m., involved the SUV and a transport truck.

The two victims were pronounced dead at the scene, and police have not yet released their names.

Hwy. 77 was closed for several hours between County Road 14 and Mersea Road 10 while officers conduct their investigation. It reopened around 1:30 Friday afternoon.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
