Possible COVID-19 exposure at WFCU Centre

The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit (WECHU) is warning the public of a possible COVID-19 exposure.

The health agency is asking anyone who was at the WFCU Centre on Wednesday, November 24 to monitor themselves for symptoms for 14 days.

The event held at the time in question was a hockey game between the Windsor Spitfires and London Knights.

If symptoms develop, the WECHU advises getting tested immediately.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
