Lambton Public Health reports a dozen new COVID cases

On Sunday, Lambton Public Health reported 12 new cases of COVID-19.

The health unit also reported three resolved cases, increasing the number of active infections by nine to 62.

Active outbreaks in the community remain at four and the death toll is unchanged at 78.

There have been 4,431 cases of the virus in Sarnia-Lambton, of which 4,291 have been deemed resolved, since the pandemic began in March 2020.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
